This is an incredibly powerful video from a father to a daughter. Take a watch and talk to your kids about it. Boys, girls, does not matter. They all need to hear this message. I just saw this video on my Facebook feed and now I'm seeing it here! Very powerful! I see similar practices in play with my own mom and dad, as she is always the one cleaning, doing laundry, etc.. I'm lucky that my husband is pretty good about sharing the load, but I know it's not as true in many households. Sometimes I think it's because we got married later in life and there were many years when he had to do things for himself! Perhaps things are starting to shift with people getting married later/having kids later in life?

That's a great observation Sally! I think that there may be something to that. I also think that our society is changing (but also not changing) in what it thinks of 'traditional roles' for the family. What traditional looks like is certainly changing!
