I am so excited to bring you the very first Just For Fun Friday! On JFFF, we review items and activities that you can do with your kids in order to increase their cultural competence and diversity awareness.

The first item that I am reviewing is one of my very favorites - honestly I'm not sure how we can top this one! This incredible book is destined to become one of your family's favorites. Not only is it a beautiful story, but it is jammed-packed with things to learn regarding cultural competence. I don't want to give too much away, but there are so many diversity themes in this book, you and your kids are guaranteed to learn something new every time you open it up.

Great job, Dr. Sweeney! The video is informative and upbeat. The question sheet is a useful tool as well. I love Just For Fun Fridays and I am sure others will as well!
